Pre-Prep School Teacher Assistant
Runnymede College is a private non-denominational British school in Madrid offering a British education to boys and girls of all nationalities from the age of two to eighteen. The education offered follows the British National Curriculum and we are looking to recruit a Teacher Assistant (TA) for the Pre-Prep School to start in September 2026
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum qualification of a Bachelor Degree from a British university or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Teaching Assistant
- Knowledge of the British National Curriculum
- Knowledge of of teaching Phonics and Early Reading
- Knowledge of early Mathematics with a mastery approach
- Successful applicants must have a native level of spoken and written English
- The ability to work with individual children, groups or supporting the teacher within the classroom
- Ability to work effectively and seamlessly individually and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in an international school – desired not essential
- To be confident in using technology effectively in teaching and learning
